CATCH UP WITH THE
MANAGER JUNE 2008
Rain, rain, go to Spain!
It was certainly a very, very wet start to the spring. Things
did dry up and seed will be establishing well in warm, dry seed
beds. Well…..no harm in hoping for the best!
Here at the Ring office
we seem to be constantly busy, which is no bad complaint. But,
as ever……we will look for more! Since the New Year Roz Watson
has joined us on the Recruitment side of the business and Tom
Mackintosh has joined on the Ring side. The Recruitment side is
certainly kept busy whilst Michelle Fletcher is on maternity
leave.
It’s fair to say that
the 2007 financial year was a good year for the business.
However with the growth that we have seen in terms of staff
employed at the Ring office we will have to think of erecting an
extension – already! This we will be looking to do later in the
year.
The price rises seen on
the inputs of fuel, seeds and fertiliser have been mind blowing
(even mind numbing?). If you had fallen asleep a year ago and
woken up today you would seriously wonder how many decades you
had slept for!!?!
As usual, thanks you to
all of you who support us. I like to think that your support
also benefits YOU – or what would be the point?
Keep us in mind when you
need a price for fuels, seeds, fertilisers, lime, insurances,
crop packaging, chemicals or any core business - ploughing,
spraying, drilling, combining, baling etc or any daily/weekly
hire of that type of tackle.
Put a note in your diary
to …..”RING THE RING”
