The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 place general duties on employers and the self employed to provide health and safety information and training.

It can be a minefield trying to decipher who/what/where/why and when training is required.

HBS Ring Ltd will organise and deliver all your training needs to ensure both you and your staff stay safe and operate within the current legislations.

We cover a variety of courses including the following:

• Drystone Walling

• Forklift (Ind Masted/RT Telescopic/RT Masted)
• Groundcare (Ride on/Pedestrian Mowers)
• Manual Handling
• Safe Use of Pesticides & Practical Application (Tractor mounted/Handheld)
• Tractor Driving
• Trailer Handling
• Transport of Livestock Assessment
• Vermin Control (Rat and Mouse, Rabbit, Mole)

We also offer practical courses such as lambing techniques, sheep shearing and many more. Ring the RING for further info.

Many of the above courses are Integrated Training and Assessment where the candidate will receive a nationally recognised skills card from Lantra Awards. HBS Ring Ltd is a member of the Lantra Professional Register as a recognised Training provider.

Where necessary, as in the case of Pesticides and some Chainsaw courses, assessments are carried out independently after a period of training.

 The costs

Each course is priced individually depending on where the course is being held, how many people are on the course, which instructor is available and any related travel costs. We do our best to fill each course to its maximum capacity, to make it cost effective to you, but we are dependent on demand...the more people that use our Training Services, the cheaper it becomes!

Many of the above courses are legislatively driven…Are you and your employees adequately trained in the safe use of the machines and equipment, which you are using on a daily/weekly/monthly basis?
